Werner Nell

Dr. Werner Nell, born in Sankt Goar, Germany, studied history, philology, sociology and comparative literature in Mainz, Frankfurt a.M. and Dijon. From 1998 to 2019 he was Prof. of Comparative Literature at Martin-Luther-University in Halle, Germany. He also was Associate Director with the Muhlenberg Centre for American Studies in Halle (2014-2019) and Board of Advisors (2019-); CEO & member of the board with the Institute for Social Pedagogy (ism e. V.) in Mainz (1994-), and is Adjunct associate professor (scholar in residence) at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada since 2008.

Dr. Werner Nell, geboren in Sankt Goar, Deutschland, studierte Geschichte, Philologie, Soziologie und Komparatistik in Mainz, Frankfurt a.M. und Dijon. Von 1998 bis 2019 war er Prof. für Vergleichende Literaturwissenschaft an der Martin-Luther-Universität in Halle.
